KIWANIS CLUB OF SAFETY HARBOR
KIWANIS CLUB OF SAFETY HARBOR

We Focus on Service

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. There are over 500,000 Kiwanis members in 94 countries. Members arrange nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly $100 million dollars every year for communities, families, and children. We make a difference.

Locally, our club focus is building scholarship, civic mindedness, and leadership in children. To that end, we are involved in numerous programs at the elementary, middle, and high school level. These programs include providing mentors for under achieving children, sponsoring leadership clubs to encourage service and civic-mindedness, and fostering education by providing supplies and scholarships for disadvantaged children.

In addition our club also donates funds and volunteers to a variety of non-profit organizations such as:

  • Six local Pinellas County elementary, middle and high schools, including more than $100,000 in Take Stock in Children scholarships through the Pinellas Education Foundation.
  • The Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center
  • Paint Your Heart Out Safety Harbor
  • Kimberly Home
  • Clothes for Kids
  • The Safety Harbor Regional Museum of History
